In this two-hour workshop you’ll practice all the postures (asanas) of the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga. I will offer modifications, and you’ll learn how to best align your body in order to reap the benefits from each pose. There will also be a focus on learning how to use your breath as you enter and exit each posture, how to breathe once in the postures, and how to find steadiness and comfort in body, mind, and emotion through yoga.
If you’ve attended my ashtanga classes before, you’re familiar with my style. Hopefully you’ll find it beneficial for us to spend this longer period of time together workshopping and exploring the intricacies of the practice, going deeper, and for some of you learning some new postures.
Some experience with Ashtanga Yoga is recommended.
