Yoga Philosophy with Masterji (M.S.Vishwanath)
Saturday, January 9th, 15-16:15 EET (Helsinki timezone) via Zoom
Lecture class topic: “Yoga Origins”
I am honoured to host Masterji (M.S. Vishwanath) for this Yoga Philosophy lecture class, and hopefully a few subsequent classes. This is a unique opportunity to learn from one of the most remarkable teachers of Yoga. Masterji’s wisdom and knowledge of the history and practical applications of yoga seems endless, and his skill in teaching both asana and pranayama is unmatched. Masterji (named as such by his students) has been teaching yoga for over 50 years. Masterji, a nephew of the late Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, hails from Mysore, the world-famous yoga city in South India. He currently resides and teaches in Bangalore, and has made numerous teaching tours throughout Europe (including Finland) and the Americas. He recently joined the trend in teaching of offering virtual learning opportunities, prompted by the pandemic. He currently offers classes online, and will resume in-person classes and traveling to teach when the coast is clear. Meanwhile, don’t miss this opportunity to enrich your understanding of yoga and deepen your insight into its practice.
Register by Friday, January 8th. You will receive your Zoom joining link via email.
