Greetings Yoga Lab Patrons and interested yoga practitioners,
Join us for a special FREE Ashtanga Yoga class on Tuesday evening, October 27th, 18:45-20:15 EET (Helsinki time zone). This class has been occurring weekly since late-March, 2020 when the pandemic required us all to get technologically-adventurous and open-minded regarding yoga classes and life in general. If you enjoy the class, consider signing up for the up-coming 7-week session that begins on Tuesday, November 3 (Election Day in America and a perfect day to take some time for yoga). Classes are guided “half-primary series” plus some (sometimes therapeutic back bending/strengthening postures from second series or extra hip opening postures from the latter half of primary series are added in depending on the participants). This class is open to all levels of Ashtanga yoga practitioners and is beginner-friendly (as long as you are comfortable with verbal guidance in English and up for an adventure). This is the sequence that many of you are familiar with if you’ve been in my classes before in Helsinki, Espoo and elsewhere (Michigan and Hawaii). Classes end with guided meditation (or you can take it lying down as a relaxation).
